I am the Inaugural Robert S. Salant Endowed Associate Professor at the Department of Physical Therapy at New York University’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education and Human Development. My research focuses on the assessment and management of chronic musculoskeletal disease. As a licensed physical therapist with doctoral and post-doctoral research training, I have extensive expertise in motion capture, inverse dynamics, kinematic modeling of the foot, assessment of muscle strength and patient-reported outcomes. I leverage my skills as a movement scientist and exercise specialist to improve movement-related health outcomes and afford mechanistic insights that ultimately advance knowledge and physical therapist practice.
